Breakfast was ok. It really didn't wow. Standard fare of bread, cereal, trucker coffee,
Bar has seating for maybe 10?
Jetted tub is spacious and fits 2 easily.
Negatives:
Pool looked nice, although the lift for those who need to use that service was out of order. Caution tape looked like it had been there for months, so who knows when or if it will be fixed.
The shower needs to be completely, and professionally re-caulked. It is absolutely getting water behind it, and you can assume that there is something growing in the walls.
We were staying for 2 days, but around noon we realized the incoming ice storm was going to make travel back to St Paul dangerous, so we checked out early. I understand very well how hotels work, and instead of giving us a 'day' rate, her excuse for charging us a full night was that there was no cleaning staff to do the room. This was a complete lie, as the housekeeping staff were at my door. To top it all off, the desk clerk suggested that because of this, she wouldn't be able to give me my receipt until it posted overnight.
The folio came to my email 1 hour after we left the hotel. They needed to clear it to put a new guest into that room.
