Everything was so bad, we got up as early as possible and left.
The bathroom was flooded, the room was damp, smelly and musty and the beds were damp. We had to go buy sheets, bedbug spray and lysol just to try to sleep a little. And the pool looked like a pond. It really was horrible.

The staff was friendly
Had a big hole in one of my rooms. Had roaches in that room plug ins didnt work. Had half smoked cigarettes and used deoderant laying beside the fridge. In both rooms the power source to microwave fridge and lamp was all hooked together to where you couldnt run them at the same time. Mold was in one of my rooms. My other room the door panel on back of door was broke off.the electric issue was in my second room also. We had family in another room and it was just as bad as my two. Breakfast we didn't even eat. Alls they had was cold cereal and pastry muffins and apples. Honestly what I paid I would have rather paid a few more dollars and upgraded to nicer hotel.

The furnishings were a little dated and some repairs are needed but it was nice for the price. I only stayed there 1 night.
The shades on the windows it didn't really prevent people from seeing inside.

We were met outside the door by angry guests complaining of roaches and theft in their room. The hotel did not have the room we booked. There was NO room for us and we left searching all over town for another room and were eventually gouged, but desperately tired we overpaid at another hotel.

pool was in need of cleaning and next day was shut down totally due to totally green water. so called breakfast was stale bread to toast, old apples, coffee. i added nights to booking ahead of arrival as home i was purchasing in hattiesburg was not going to be available for extra 3 days, i booked directly on red lion site for executive suite for more room for family and on arrival told they dont have any suites, only king or double bed rooms, desk clerk didn't seem to care, attitude was take it or leave it, called red lion and they didnt see any problem with advertising and selling me room that didnt exist.will never use thier hotels again.
The girl working the desk was very nice and was doing her best to not only deal with our issues, but several other guests were having problems with their rooms. I thought it was a little odd
that she had to come manually unlock the door with a key, even though we had a keycard. Additionally, she checked the bathroom, as we entered the room to see if the water was running! None of that is her fault, she's just freaking with a crappy facility
