Holiday Inn Express Natchez South West By IHG

Negatives: We were given a room that wasn’t ready. Breakfast very poor, no juice, no bread, toaster didn’t work. Pool was not in use. Staff unhelpful. We have stayed in a number of HIE over the past few weeks and this was well below their usual standard. But also the most expensive - so very poor value for money!

Negatives: We booked 3 rooms. Two of the rooms had water leaks. One was the air conditioner and the other was the ceiling..

Negatives: The carpet in Room 116 needs sto be replaced. It has tears and ripples in it making it easy to trip or fall.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: I got an extreme case of bed bugs. Had to go to the hospital because my sores and hand/arm swelled so bad. The tub was moldy and had been patched, the vents were dirty and the pool was closed couldn't use it.

Negatives: Gravy tasted like cardboard.

Negatives: Having done a lot of road trips, and having stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses, this was a bit disappointing. The shower looked like it had never seen a bottle of limescale remover, the taps and metal work were grey rather than shiny which is immediately off putting. The hotel pool was not available, I think it was being renovated. There was a lack of choice at breakfast in comparison to other Holiday Inns. They provided tea bags, but no hot water. When another guest enquired, they were provided with some microwaved water! The juice machine didn't have what was labelled either. The apple juice came out as cold water.

Negatives: No hot water on first day, second day was intermittent third day very low pressure. Cable did not work second night. Vent in bathroom has not been working for a long time, ceiling in bathroom is peeling off and hitting/getting in your hair.

Negatives: No hot water and in room coffee pot had mold growing in it.

Negatives: On arrival, we had to wait almost 40 minutes in the lobby because the front desk associate was not there. When she did return, she was complaining with another person that was with her about leaving when her shift ended and didn’t care if the next person showed up on time, she was leaving. I found that to be very unprofessional to say in front of guests who are checking in. It was already bad enough we had to wait as long as we did.
