Red Roof Inn & Suites Vicksburg

Negatives: The property has recently changed hands and it seems like know body cares about anything . Breakfast was a joke , half a loaf of bread but no butter or spreads and waffles , when we enquired on our first morning we were told the truck didn’t arrive , on the second morning same thing , and were told we don’t provide breakfast , even though on check in we were told the breakfast hours . ( we booked as it advertised breakfast ) No coffee machine or hairdryer in room even though it was listed in room facilities, was given both after complaining. Don’t expect any house keeping , if you want fresh towels or your bin emptied ect you have to ask . On our last afternoon a big fight erupted in the foyer between locals who just seemed to be hanging around , 4 police cars arrived ., pepper spray was used in the foyer and we are still choking on it as I write this review . We have complained directly to the Red Roof company because this place is dragging their good name down .

Negatives: 1. Water reservoir lid for the toilet was cracked in two resting on the tank 2. The facial tissue was empty 3. The carpet outside the door in hallway was soaked with water 4. The locking jam for the door could literally be pulled off the wall (didn't attempt it, thank goodness there was a deadbolt) 5. The continental breakfast consisted of one thermos of coffee and some janky waffle machine. I don't know if the coffee thermos served the entire three floors or just the first floor. I suspect, the entire facility. Once it was empty, the thermos wasn't replenished. On our second morning, no continental breakfast or coffee was available. They ran out of supplies. 6. Housekeeping was non-existent 7. Outside the main entrance, there were cigarette butts in any and all containers outside, to include a 5 gallon bucket - No upkeep 8. The staff at counter, when they were present, was harsh and apparently "inconvenienced" with questions or requests 9. At checkout, I requested a printed receipt and the staff person kept stating the computer was slow and was acting up. When I asked her if she rebooted she responded curtly, "don't you think I tried that?" of which I responded, "I don't know, did you?" Another guest standing next to me said to me, "Never again". I echoed his sentiment. That's just one interaction I had with staff. Checking in and getting the location of my actual room was like pulling teeth from a bear.

Negatives: Not clean and really no breakfast but one waffle.

Negatives: My confirmed reservation was not honored and they had no vacancy. Do not select Pay at Property option. Staff was unapologetic.

Negatives: Desk staff was unprofessional, uninterested and rude. A continuous buzzing 125 Hz sound all night in the room, weak or absent wifi and no breakfast although it was advertised.

Negatives: Dirty elevator, hallways, and room (unknown drops of substance on room floors, debris in air conditioner); room had strong odor of cigarette smell. Outside entrance to facility was littered with cigarette butts. Booking .com should not place this facility on website.

Negatives: The lobby was dirty and the room was worse. The clerk was rude and condescending. Several sketchy people where hanging around the entrance. The police made a drive thru looking around. Please take this hotel off your list.

Negatives: Unfriendly staff, room marginally cleaned, graffiti inside the elevator, breakfast was not even minimally acceptable. One waffle machine with no batter. Only other option was bottled water.

Negatives: I signed up for this hotel on line by mistake. It was not a very nice hotel. But it was cheap so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Negatives: Everything!If I could give a negative star I would customer service was rude insulted my disabled husband we checked in for 10 mins and left the property to get another room at a different hotel. The front desk was so rude and used Foul language on to her friend visiting about us. Property was dirty and smelled like Marijuana. The TV was plugged in by a orange electric cord. I can go on and on. I requested a refund still waiting to hear back from red roof inn and booking.com

Negatives: The hotel itself is in need of repair. The ceiling tiles in the hall were stained with water marks or missing, and the hallway smelled of weed. The first room we were given looked as if they floor had not been swept, the bathroom floor had water all over it, and it reeked of cigarettes. The second room we were given had no hair dryer in it. We had to go to the front desk and ask for one. The front desk staff upon our original check-in was less than engaging. She was on her personal cell phone and then looked put out when we came back and asked if we could change rooms. There was no one at the front desk when we went to check out.
