Staff were very helpful and location is great right off 55.
Negatives:
There was a bunch of rain while we were there and the lobby area near the breakfast area had several areas where the ceiling was leaking water. They need to get the roof fixed and repair the water damaged ceiling.

Very disappointed in staff in morning and breakfast. 6-9 was breakfast hours and at 8:15 I arrived most food empty. A group of workers including the one in charge of keep food full were sitting around eating and talking. Telling people thats all.

The best part about this hotel was the food. OMG, I don't know who cooked that food but they need a raise, that's the best all-inclusive breakfast I've ever had. Plus a guy was working the front desk, I didn't get his name, but he was super helpful

The only issue with the hotel was the water. Apparently, in Winona MS there's hard water, which I'm not used to but it would come out of the faucets brown but would clear up as you run it. Kind of a turn off but it's rural Mississippi

The room has a strong odor of foot and cigarette smells, and it was the same even after changing to another room The bathroom has a prison-like atmosphere as seen in movies, and when you shower and come out, the floor is flooded with water

The hotel had a sign that stated restrooms were in process of being renovafed. Our room had not been. The bathtub and wall beside it was yellowed. For the price I payed for that room, I should have had a renovated bathroom or been given a discount.

Price ok. Lady serving chicken and dumplings on evening shift was super nice.

Desk clerk took her sweet time to show up to check me in. I sttod waiting a long time. I turned on shower and brownish colored came out. Tub was stained. Toilet was too low to the floor, like for a child. Bed was too hard.

Beautiful location and decor inside hotel.. I have stayed here for 13 yrs ( when it 1st opened) its a nice looking place.

The bathrooms needs cleaning and disinfecting. Room 128 and 127 has black mold and nasty dirt in facebowls and bathtub corners. Sickening. Pls have a manager check and clean bathrooms!! Pls??

I was there with ten other family members staying in multiple rooms and all of us said the same thing. The beds were TERRIBLE. None of us slept well because they were so worn out and uncomfortable. I paid too much to have that experience.

The rooms were infested with bugs an dirty. Towels were never available if they were you had to go down to the desk and pick them up. Unfriendly staff. Stained linen, overall I would not recommend. I feel that someone owes me a huge discount or refund.

There are not a lot of choices in Winona unfortuanately, and this one is probably the best option. It isn't great and it isn't terrible.
Negatives:
The employees were not friendly at all. I walked in the door and said,"Hi, I have a reservation." There was no greeting of any sort. Just a,"I need to see yourID." They were not rude, just indifferent. Breakfast lady was the same way.
