SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Blue Springs

Negatives: The only thing that I didn't like was that the indoor pool wasn't heated.

Negatives: The carpet was very dirty. I kept my new flip flops on all the time as it looked to dirty to walk on and at the end of my stay my clean flip flop soles were filthy. Our bath drain was not draining the shower water so we told the staff. Later that day they said they had fixed it and had pulled lots of hairs from the drain (some things you just don't tell a customer). The same thing kept happening and we repeatedly reported it. I asked if we could swop rooms but they said no. The water drained throughout the day but each time we showered it flooded up from the drain. So every time we showered we had to stand ankle deep in dirty water. We had to wash our feet under running tap water each time we stepped out the shower. This lasted every day of our 7 day stay, unfortunately. One of the staff members helped us at breakfast by telling us what was what. Also she made us a waffle. Then when we said thank you and bye she told us she wanted a tip. I've never been to america and had no idea that you're supposed to tip everyone! We told her we had no cash (as we didn't) and she said she was there till 10am so we've to take it before then!! I don't think anyone should ask for a tip. If I want to give one I will. Omg. The staff found it hard to understand English but there was one male member occasionally on reception who was very good at English and very polite. Also there was a permanent, bad foisty smell. It really did stink. But it was a budget hotel after all.

Negatives: Smelled like pot in the elevator, no hot water and the hot tub was disgusting
