Positives:
This was located in an area chosen to launch a day trip to cape giradeau for a solar eclipse. They let my dog stay for an additional 50$ upcharge.
Negatives:
Cupboards were torn off the walls and placed into the closet cramping space in both areas. The hvac unit sounded like a jet engine landing when it truned on. The bathroom wall was streaked with grime and slime. There were 2 pillows, both were flat and lumpy and it was extremely uncomfortable 2 nights sleep. 2 lights in the bathroom vanity were burned out. The bathroom exhaust venting does not work. A single rolling office chair was unusable due to damage.

The number of beds was comfortable. The location was good for my needs. We were able to make a dinner.

There were no bath towels in the room and I had to wait a couple hours to get some from the laundry. Floors were sticky, Hallways were dirty. Exterior doors did not latch reliably and were always open. Missing bathroom door. Dirty microwave. no dishes in the unit. Leftover food in the fridge from previous guests. Dishwasher fell out of the cabin. Walls, trim and doors in poor shape.

The lobby, building entrances, halls were dirty, reeked of cigarettes & marijuana, cat/dog urine. Lobby dirty & messy. Room no toilet paper, no kitchen utensils, pots etc. Drawers dirty w/ food & old toiletry items. I could not stay there and left.

We didn’t get any towels or rags for the four days we stayed. We went to the office multiple times a day to ask and half the time no staff was available the other half they told us that they don’t understand why they don’t have any available and one instance the lady behind the counter said that she was an old employee there and didn’t work there but was helping out and they don’t have any management.
