Positives:
Single room with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchenette.
Negatives:
Trash from last guest in the kitchenette not emptied. Garbage disposal in the kitchenette did not work which caused the sink to back up. Stove light in the kitchenette did not work. Dirty linens left in hallway overnight. Body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. No soap provided for the bathroom sink. No liner in one of the trash cans. Charged $10 for parking per night which I did not expect at this type of hotel.

Facility was under construction, dust curtains in each hallway, No extra pillows, TV remote did not work. Fire alarm went off at 4:34am and went off for 20 minutes before fire department only to be told someone MAY have pulled the alarm. The manager on duty was running around frantic and chaotic. It was a poor experience.

I didnt come in contact with many staff members, but the woman who presided over breakfast prep and service was one of the best hospitality staff members ive ever had the pleasure of working with. you should commend her with a special commendation of some kind

I made the reservation in March. In the way down to KC I got an email saying that the hotel was overbooked and we we being moved to another hotel 10 minutes away. I had to call and explain they we were traveling as a family in one car and had 2 rooms booked. I also chose the hotel based upon location for our event they night. We couldn’t check in early which was not a problem but we. We’re the last ones to check in. Our room was not clean and the tv did not work. Not much we could do at 12:30am. I would not stay here again

The room was comfortable and quiet. The set up was nice. If you are staying a number of days, the refrigerator and microwave are good additions. The staff was very friendly.

The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. All four were alike, so we had no options. Fruit on the breakfast bar would have been appreciated, and the Greek yogurt was not available on the last day. Since I only eat a light breakfast, I was out of luck. My husband thought the AC unit was too noisy and wanted to change the settings so it would stop running while he went to sleep. I then turned it cooler again.

Positives:
Loved the layout of the rooms. Loved having our own kitchen areas. Great staff. Great location. Perfect for a family. The only place I'll stay next time I'm in KC/Independence. Will be looking for residence anywhere I go from now on.
Negatives:
The only complaints I had would be that I wasn't informed of ongoing renovations before booking, but even with that going on it was a wonderful stay and we were never disturbed or inconvenienced by them. Forgot my charging block and would be nice if they would have had a USBC port in the room along with USBA ports they had.
