Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was tasty. Staff was friendly. Location (right by the capital building) was wonderful. Would stay here again.
Negatives:
I received a note under my door stating that the hotel had not received payment, despite the money having already come out of my bank account. I talked with the lady at the front desk and tried to explain that, since it was a weekend, the reason payment wasn't showing up on their end was because the transaction was still processing and would be completed the following Monday morning. She asked me to email her a copy of my bank statement showing that, but I declined. She wasn't mean or anything, but I felt the whole interaction was a bit odd. I can't be the only person to have ever checked out on a weekend?
We were also disappointed that the fountain wasn't working
