Positives:
The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Hotel wasn't crowded. Staff were friendly and responsive. Parking was free and convenient. Location was close to the highway, and close to the family we were visiting.

The breakfast was pretty plain, although the selection was adequate. The TV was hard to navigate.

Nice room and nice area.
Positives:
Had suite... very basic but modern and clean and comfy. Lots of outlets for your stuff. Bed was great. Gym was great... coffee downstairs great. Bathroom was fine..hallways are big and lighted and modern.
Negatives:
The AC couldn't be shut off and the fan stayed on hi in the bedroom. And, clean up the neighboring outside area... it's a great hotel in an unappealing setting.

No Body Wash. Coffee Maker leaked coffee all over counter.
No Creamer. Breakfast was cold. Breakfast also upset my stomach twice, traveling East to NY and then again traveling West to Nevada. My wife warned me on our return trip back home that the Home2 breakfast was old and definitely left over from the day before. I should have listened to her and I should have learned my lesson the first time their breakfast totally upset my stomach.
12 hours driving with a upset stomach is torture…twice is MURDER.
Home2 at Joplin is the only Home2 we have had issues with, and will definitely not be staying there ever again.
