As you first walked into the hotel the lobby smelled like Indian food. Was supposed to be a pet friendly but they called us while we were out to dinner to say our dog was barking. Came back to hotel because they insisted we address it and there were other dogs on the other floors barking also. I asked if they didn’t have floors with people with dogs only and she said they didn’t do that.The reason the dog was barking because there were kids running up and down the hall knocking on room doors. I reported that and nothing was done. Kids running around the lobby in dripping wet bathing suits to get towels. No sheets in the room for the pull out. Front desk person insisted there was and I had to go check again and there wasn’t. He was very reluctant to give me some. The room was dirty. No one that worked there was friendly or helpful. Maybe they should change some of their policies. Would never stay there again.

Swimming pool was awesome! Free breakfast was nice but was very busy. Staff did a good job keeping up on breakfast but seemed overwhelmed.
Zona Rosa, outdoor shopping mall close to the hotel was awesome! Great restaurants and playground for kids to play.
Negatives:
Rooms are ok, mattress and pillows not comfortable, bathroom was tiny, barely enough room to get in to use the toilet. Sink faucet was hard to operate. Shower handle leaked while running. Toilet valve, didn’t work properly so I had to adjust to fill back up.
Waffle maker, there was only one waffle maker so the line took forever and never made any. Maybe buy a second one.
Toaster, needs upgraded to a 4 slice toaster.

Had trouble checking in. They did not have our reservation. Even even after showing our confirmation the desk clerk told us we had to contact booking.com it took over an hour and a half to get everything straightened out and they gave us our room when we checked out the following morning. There was a different desk clerk who was also very abrupt and non-customer service oriented
