It was my own fault for not looking at previous reviews.
Negatives:
The building is old. Not well maintained. It smelled. They tried to make us give a $50 cash deposit at check in for a non-smoking room with was a false. It has an obvious smell of stale smoke. It was right under the highway. Pretty shady area.

We didn't even stay - we pulled up and said ... NOPE and found another place

It looked like it was closed, no other cars there, they had razor wire around the fences, and there were drug deals going on in the parking lot and fights.

To scary, to dilapidated, bad part of the city.
Positives:
We needed to swap rooms because the first one had broken plumbing, water on the floor, and smelt overwhelmingly like smoke.
Negatives:
The new room we were moved to still smelt like smoke. We were told it was cleaner. The sheets and blankets had cigarette burns. The AC was off when we arrived and took hours to cool down. The bathroom door wouldnt shut. The room was overall uncomfortable. We were also forced to leave a $50 cash deposit in case we smoked. Then when they returned the deposit, they didnt even check the room which was comical. If youre looking for a bed to sleep in that is a mile from downtown, this is it. However, do not have any expectations.

I paid for 3 nights and couldnt stay one single night . Terrible hotel, dirty , the room smelled like marijuana and smoke , broken night lights. I had to pay for another hotel and couldnt get a refund from americas best hotel

Nasty , dirty, looks and smells like a motel for prostitu*** The pictures looks decent but ones my family and I got there, we couldnt stay a single night.
