The first room was not up to standards, thankfully the front desk lady was able to move us to a different room. Also the lady from the valet parking was terribly rude to my partner.

The facilities overall were not what is expected of the Hilton name, especially as the flagship hotel in St. Louis. The room was older, older fixtures, small bathroom, signs of age like peeling paint and dingy curtains. That carried through most of the West Tower area.
The pool was extremely small, as well as dingy and old.

The staff was excellent, the roof top restaurant was great. I Lost my phone in the rooftop bar Saturday night on Easter weekend. The staff, the security and the restaurant looked for it. The took our information and a week later found it and mailed the phone to me.

The shower head was falling out of the wall and the water pressure was weak... the windows and TV were wiped but not cleaned (as of done with a dirty towel) and the coffee maker didn't have the part that holds the coffee so we had to go out for coffee!

The room was filthy. I went to move a small glass table that must have been at least 30 years old and felt years of sticky nasty lord knows what on the bottom. There was years of nasty on the bathroom walls. In any other circumstances, I would have ask for a refund and left. It really makes me never want to use booking.cim again.
