Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

We were close to all the things we wanted to do while in Springfield without being so close that our surroundings were loud.
Negatives:
The staff were hard to find. We never walked into the hotel and saw a person standing at the desk. If we wanted to see someone, we waited for someone to come to the front. Otherwise we came and went and never saw anyone.

Pleasant stay in a good spot.

Good value. Good coffee. Good location. Good staff. Good cleanliness. Good water pressure. Good safety precautions. Good Candlewood Store for things like Tums, Tylenol, or drinks.

No breakfast here but they did have fruit available 24/7 as well as coffee on demand 24/7 and things to eat available for purchase at a reasonable cost plus lots of good restaurants were close.
