Negatives: Rooms need upgrades like carpet and paint but it wasnt dirty. Just appeared outdated

Negatives: 1) room stunk: one or two of my pillows smelled like dirty hair and cheap cologne, but visually appeared clean. 2) Cutting corners to save money compromises my sense of security: new procedure of not staffing the front desk after hours which means no one greets you if you’re returning from a late night; if your key card doesn’t work upon late night arrival, you have to use the newly installed wall phone…not safe at all. One evening I witnessed a tense interaction with the front desk staff and a woman with a man who appeared to be trying to bully the staff into giving them a room….had staff not been present and/or if my card key didn’t work, what recourse or security would I have had if I encountered those people upon my late night return?

Negatives: I got there around 12:30am. Their front desk was closed. A note said to call “0” on the house phone. Once they picked up, they said the building was closed and they would not honor the reservation.

Negatives: It was a big disappointment and false advertisement. They make you think you can cook but you have to buy the pots pans and utensils

Negatives: Pretty bad that they didn't have a way to check us in, so we ended up paying for another hotel plus this hotel that we didn't even get to stay in.

Negatives: STILL haven't processed a refund after 2 weeks despite numerous phone calls!
