Overall, it was great service and lodging for the price. It felt cleaner and more homey than some of the supposed higher end hotels I've stayed at. If you're headed to Springfield, I highly recommend!

We was 3 hours early for check in and was meeting family from another state halfway. We was all on separate floors, but the lady at the front desk made sure to put us all together on the same floor and allowed us to check in early.

Hotel was at capacity. When we arrived I was told we had been upgraded, but the room we had booked was a two queen suite with a sofa bed. They tried to put us in a king with a sofa bed. I went back to the front desk, was told the room we booked does not exist (their online booking says otherwise). They eventually found a two queen room for us to use. After much waiting. I was told they would comp me with extra points on my IHG account - but when I looked it said the stay did not qualify, because it had been booked via a third party. Other IHG hotels have been able to add our stays even when booked via bookings. So we ended up overpaying for the room we ended up in and there was no compensation
