Negatives:
1. I don’t understand how a brand as large as Holiday Inn—with so many branches across Canada and the USA—still doesn’t have a consistent system for staff. No dress code, no standard for welcoming guests, and no sense of uniformity.
2. We are in an English-speaking country, yet many staff members still can’t—or don’t want to—speak English and rely entirely on Google Translate. This makes communication extremely difficult.
3. Do not trust the photos on Booking.com or even on their official website. The real condition is totally different. The swimming pool is not clean, and the bathroom and shower were also not properly maintained.
4. They advertise a complimentary breakfast buffet, but what you actually receive is completely different. They bring you a small cart and make you order from a limited menu—there is no buffet at all. So should I believe that Booking.com is lying? Or is it Holiday Inn? Why advertise something you don’t provide?
5. I asked twice for room service—at 11:30 AM—and it never happened. Not once.
Overall, I made a mistake trusting them. I will definitely never return.

Right when you walk in the fountain is quite the feature.
The pool towels were always stocked
The remodel part that has been finished looks like it might be pretty ?
Negatives:
Since there was a remodel going on, the waterslide was gone and the pool area was very meh. The deck is the most slippery I've ever experienced. It needs some texture.
That amazing fountain and animals in the lobby are covered in cobwebs and dust that could be easily cleaned by the sub par front desk agent who spent most of his time hiding in the office.
Having to join a rewards club to get wifi and breakfast is the silliest thing.
There were several trip hazards in the floor- like an inspector definitely hasnt been here in a minute.

Hot tub was nice but could also use some spiffying up!
Joe at the front desk was an amazing customer service associate. Really made us feel welcome.
Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Most Ice machines were broken.
Beds were too high. Senior parents had a hard time getting in and out of them.
No safe!
Night time staff were not as friendly.
Seemed to just be going through the paces. They were not rude just seemed more solemn.
