Had to wait at front desk for more than 30 minutes for the desk clerk to arrive to check me in. He then told me that the single queen rooms were not available and tried to upsell me a double queen until I offered to stay elsewhere.

1st key wouldn't open door had to walk back down 2 flights of stairs with my luggage in the snow to get 2nd for new room. Walked back up opened door. No TV no smoke detector. Called office no answer. Sat in room from 5 until fell asleep in silence.

The furniture was pretty battered, floor could have been much cleaner, sink had dried paint on the enamel, wall paper peeling in bathroom. Generally needs a facelift badly. Pretty shabby.

The were cops & hazmat team in parking lot when we arrived - drug issue in one rooms. The room was filthy, toilet leaking, bugs in bathroom, shower filthy, old food frozen in freezer section fridge, people talking loud outside room til 2 am & room above
