Positives:
Front desk staff were outstanding: knowledgeable and helpful. They accepted our cats.
Negatives:
Not very clean. Broken furniture in room. Pool was closed. Being close to the highway and train yard, it was a bit noisy. I hesitate to stay at an Econolodge. I've had some good experiences, but this one is an example of why I hesitate.

The price was outrageous 175.00 for 1 night. The pool was out of order. We could only get 2 towels for 3 people.

We left before breakfast because we wanted to get an early start home. The location was perfect and easy to find.
Negatives:
I was disappointed to find out I had to do stairs. When reserving a room I asked for a handicapped room. The stairs and one bar in the bathroom is not a handicapped room.

Sadly we only had two pillows for the both of us and the blankets were thin.

No local TV channels. Couldn't watch NFL football. Minimal breakfast. Someone's gloves were left in the room which means they didn't do a very good job of cleaning it.

The motel location was good. Easy to find. Easily found from the highway. The employees were excellent and extremely helpful both on the phone making reservations and behind the check-in counter.
Negatives:
Did not actually eat at the Buffet. There was only 2-3 tables that were for 4 people only. We had 6 people. The Balloon Fest that we were there to go to opened at 5:30am, the buffet did not open until 6:00am. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. The curtains did not close all the way, we were on ground level so people walking by could easily see in the windows. There was other guests that were ahead of us that were also complaining about several things. People behind the counter said they could not handle complaints. So the people before us in addition to us asked for a phone number for the main Administration Offices were we could call, we were told there was not a telephone number for anyone to call. Nonsense!
