Motel 6-Carson City NV

Negatives: Rather unpleasant stay with the walls being paper thin and can hear everything from the rooms either side. The rooms have a fire door linking to each room which has the potential for someone to enter your room if the door is unlatched. We had someone at 2am trying to open the door from the other side (clearly curious) which caused my child and partner to be unable to fall back to sleep through fear someone was going to enter the room. The size of the rooms aren’t great with the double queen beds being very close together. There is a fridge and microwave however there isn’t a kettle. I don’t expect a lot from a motel 6 but feeling safer wouldn’t go a miss. We ended up mid way through our booking (no other local options until this point) leaving and finding other options. Note: that motel 6 does not monitor the booking.com contact page as we had to miss the first night due to a severe winter weather warning and could not travel. I messaged them on booking.com to state this but they then still cancelled the booking leaving us to pay for the first night. This then lead to unnecessary worry and no other option but to rebook at a premium costing us more money. Very unsatisfactory. When I called, the guy on the phone was extremely unhelpful and rude.

Negatives: I stayed in a disability accessible room. I question whether or not a wheelchair bound person could successively navigate the shower.

Negatives: Not enough grass or trash cans for dog poop pickup.

Negatives: I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Negatives: I have stayed here several times. Always satisfied w quality for price. This time i happen to get room w very, uncomfortable bed :( Luckily it was just a last mon, overnight stay. Will i stay again yes. But please change the mattress in room 106.
