The staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Good price.

According to a sign, the hotel is under renovation, some areas seemed older, in need of work. The only problem we had was the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. It could have been someone pulling the alarm or a problem with the system, we never knew. A little concerning.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was big, shower was nice, and the water was hot. The restaurant across from the fancy one.. They use the same kitchen. The food was amazing. I was surprised. The chicken fried steak was better than I have ever had. I would stay again.
Negatives:
I didn't like the way whoever remodeled the room.. They didn't properly install the hanging nightstand properly. I went to plug in my phone charger, lots a resistance. I unplugged it, and as soon as I took it out, the hanging nightstand fell off the wall and on top of my arm because I was literally afraid my toes would've been severed. That's how heavy this thing was. Even maintenance had trouble picking the nightstand up. All in all. Left a gross bruise and bump and I was ok in the end.
