The front desk gentleman was efficient and very kind. We called to say we would be arriving late, and all was ready for us when we got there. The room was even right by the elevator. The room was clean the bed comfortable and the breakfast fine

The hotel was recently remodeled, that is great, however it had an odd smell. However, they did not honor the price from booking.com. They charged me $20 more per room for "incidentals"

They did not honor the booking.com price. Also, the hotel was fully booked and I asked the man at the desk if this is usually the case. He said yes. The breakfast room was crowded and it was difficult to find a seat. Also, they only had one waffle maker and a line of people who wanted to use it. I can overlook the crowded breakfast room, but not the fact they would not honor the price I reserved on booking.com.
