When I arrived at this property, the front desk was not occupied and the front door was locked. I picked up the landline in the foyer and waited several minutes before someone picked up. The person who answered seemed to be annoyed and was apparently sleeping somewhere away from the front desk. My biggest issue however is that The Extended Stay Hotel charged me TWICE for the single night stay and they are not doing anything to reverse the second charge. When I arrived at the hotel (late check-in, after midnight) the hotel computer was offline "updating" for at least 30 minutes and couldn't access reservations to give me a room or keys. After the computer came back up, the receptionist said he couldn't use my reservation even though I had a booking.com confirmation email/receipt in my hand and on my phone. Then he asked for my credit card to charge me as a walk-in (second charge). He said that he showed the Booking.com reservation was reversed, but couldn't give me a receipt. I have called and spoken to the staff there on two separate occasions and they want me to go and get a refund from Booking.com when that is the original and correct charge, and they are in possession of that revenue. I have never seen such incompetence.
