Most of the amenities they had listed and the reason why we booked with this hotel were not available or in working condition, the outdoor pool was not open and the condition of it showed us why. The Game room was also not in working condition.
The room was dirty and many of the items within the room were broken or in need of repair, the bathroom sink faucet was very hard to get working, the hairdryer was broken and pieces were missing from it like it was hit against something, the chairs were damaged as well and I ended up getting a really bad splinter just sitting in one of them. The complimentary breakfast was inedible as well so we had to go to McDonald’s. It rained both days we were there and the parking area was way across a grass area and was a far walk.
I will not be booking at this location again.

We have stayed at Fox ridge multiple times and have always had a fantastic trip. But this time was not one of those. The check in staff got all my Information incorrect .. after all that they gave us the key but apparently forgot to check us into the room I later found out when I went down to ask a question.
Negatives:
We typically always have a great stay here and I hope this was just a one bad instance. Our room was not the cleanest it was missing a lot of the essentials that it typically had in other rooms.

The pool was actually really nice , the indoor area was heated . The mi i golf was just enough for young children The woman who grated us the first night was truly the sweetest lady ever. The continental breakfast was same for 3 days. The scenery was beautiful.

I worked at Fox Ridge 30 years ago. The grounds, the pool, and the dining room were top quality back then. Now, everything was a disappointment. The grounds are in very rough shape, and the pool was too. The hot tub we didn't even get in because the water was gray. The breakfast hot foods were disgusting, the bananas were rotten, just one big disappointment. The dining room when i worked there used linens, and the wait staff and food were excellent. Not any more. I will not return.
