comfort of the room, having coffee/tea available all the time generous parking lot
Negatives:
walking through front door only to step on drop cloths, around paint buckets, paint bucket on reception desk no staff in sight except painters who smiled. This did not give a good first impression re welcoming guests, safety and staff. A simple sign at the front door saying "welcome, please pardon our mess as we update our lounge/etc"

Clean, comfortable and cozy hotel. The Halloween decorations were a charming touch.
We really appreciated the spacious room with a kitchenette, and the large laundry room was incredibly convenient.
Breakfast was simple but tasty.
The staff was kind and attentive.

Some furniture feels a bit dated.
The pool was a bit chilly for swimming, though the hot tub was fantastic.

Negatives:
We were not able to sleep at all because room was too cold and stayed cold at 60 at night. Thermostat was not working. Called the service number twice and no one came to fix it. It completely ruined our next day without having a night sleep. We left our suitcase at the desk and staff was off no help.
