Seaview Hotel a Dolce by Wyndham

Negatives: Peaceful,

Negatives: We had an issue with housekeeping, but the manager handled the issue in a professional manner.

Negatives: I got the buffet the second day and it was just ok because the waffles were dry and not real warm. The hash browns were formed patties but the freshly made omelette was good. I thought the hotel could have had more instructive information or faqs about things like the various dining rooms and their times open and functions. Also, as new golfers there, we didnt really understand the protocol beforehand ie, where and when to drop off our club bags, etc. It was also not explained to us whether there were other ways to enter/exit our particular hotel area (the hotel is huge). There was no booklet in the room which could have explained so much of the above plus things like local restaurants, etc. The room door got stuck every single time and we had to shove a shoulder into it to get it completely opened. The room itself smelled slightly musty. The hot water took a good 5 minutes to heat up. The shampoo and body wash bottles were tiny for 2 people to share. We had to conserve them, especially since our room hadnt been cleaned when we returned to it around 3 pm the second day.

Negatives: The hall leading up to our room smelled like mildew and chlorine. The room itself smelled like cigarettes. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible & there was no fan, so you had no privacy when using the bathroom. Also, the walls were thin, so you could hear other guests when trying to go to sleep. For the price of the room, it was disappointing.
