No sign outside and grounds were messy. Bathroom had no toliet paper holder or towel racks. No place in bathroom for toiletries. Mattress was set up so it stopped electrical power strip from functioning correctly (lights kept flickering) Shades on window would not go up or down.

Checkin staff was nice. The room was remodeled nicely, but there was still a hole in the wall with exposed wires signifying this room was clearly not done.
Negatives:
Room was not what I booked. I reserved a king suite with spa tub and recieved a basic room, a $70 cost difference. They were re modeling and the room I was in was incomplete with a large square cut hole in the wall with exposed copper wires. The dead bolt lock was missing. The bare minimal of breakfast was available since the "person" was scheduled off. But the worse of the experience came when calling to speak with a manager and encountered the rudest and unprofessional staff member of the hotel. Even left a message and never given a return call back. When communicating my room concern mainly for the cost difference of basic room I was told by the hotel staff I should not had booked through 3rd party, call them. THEY (HIE) updated their website to say the rooms I booked aren't an option, when in fact they were not.

Breakfast was pretty good. Location, close to 295, was great.

Vending machines would be nice for snacks, beverages. Pool would be nice..
