First day staff wasn't welcoming and it seemed that homeless people flooded entrance, looking sickly at times. Almost like staying in the projects. Your standards have dropped. We've stayed there before Covid, now 4 years ago and it was great. This time disappointed.

There is budget and there is total disregard for human decency! I asked for a late check out as it is usual in most accommodations especially those close to an airport and I was was offered free to 1 pm, asked if I could push to 2 pm and was asked for $100 which is a little more than a room for the night which is just a joke. My room had stained carpet literally everywhere notwithstanding the stale smell in the entire room hence why I opened the windows to get some air in. There was a soap box either what looked like used soap next to clean towels. Particularly loved the great piece of communication at reception and in the lift that visitors won’t have running water in the building from 10 am and was presented in two languages albeit no one clearly checked the two for incongruences seen the two versions were conflicting as in the English version the water would shut down on Thursday but on the Spanish one on Wednesday. Even the dates referenced were not the same which is rather confusing and I am going to ignore that water will be shut down at 10 either on Wednesday or Thursday but with no real indication as to how long and when will it come back. This is no way to treat anyone! Budget means less frills but cleanliness and running water are a basic need that all operators should be striving to provide along with common sense and manners. These guys should not be charging. But paying people to be prepared to stay in what I can only describe as a dump! Oh and breakfast? Just be honest and say there will be some coffee and muffins available at reception rather than calling it breakfast insulting your own intelligence in the process!! The only reason in some instances the rating was above 0 was for that lovely girl that interacted with me in reception who was clearly following the training given.
