Front desk agent awesome service went beyond his duty to make sure my stay was comfortable. Thank you I will always use this location of DoubleTree by Hilton.

It has an impresive infraestructure.
Negatives:
The room was apparently clean but there was too many dust. You could see every morning the particles over the tables. We both ended sneezing and a bit congested when check out.

the bathtub had hair from someone staying there beforehand. the other thing i didn't like is i put on the door sign that i did not want anyone going in my room to replace towels and they did the complete opposite

The presentation of the hotel overall was great.

UNACCCEPTABLE!!! The room was not the best for a hotel of this caliber, the cover on the bed was spotted the bathroom sink would not drain and a pair of dirty panties was behind the bed that looked like it been there for years.

It is the nicest thing in Newark.

It takes forever to get from the airport to the hotel on the hotel provided transportation, which was way overfull and seemed like it could breakdown at any time.

Excellent value for a very nice hotel. NYC hotel prices were astronomical for NYE weekend, so I saved a ton of money by staying in Newark. Getting bask and forth to midtown NYC (Penn Station) was a breeze using NJ transit via the hotel shuttle service!
Negatives:
$28 for a typical hotel breakfast was a bit much, but the food was good at least. The restaurant/room service food, not so much.
