Really nice property. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay there again.

If you check in to the property in the evening, you will very likely be in a long lineup as the management has decided to only have one person working the check-in desk. They were doing a fantastic job when we checked in, but it was way too much for one person. It sounds like this is a pretty regular thing - so don’t be surprised if you have a long wait to check in at the busy times!

The location was better than the other motels. Rooms were huge, and beautifully decorated.

Had to park far from our room, but we got in very late.

Room had musty smell, and biggest surprise was that the train route was so close and frequent. Woke us up 3 times.

The TV was grainy and lots of channels did not work, you can hear trains go by, the motel is old school but it delivers the essentials at a reasonable price, the stand out though is the friendly staff, they made us all very welcome, thank you

Positives:
Smiling friendly front desk person greeted us immediately. Room was near the back and had parking right in front. Room was spacious. Refrigerator was nice and cold, Room was clean. Nice grassy area for the dog. And they had a place to park our big rental truck.

All the front desk and breakfast attendants were friendly. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items.
Negatives:
This is an outdated hotel that just needs some TLC. The floor near the bathroom (upstairs room) was very squeaky and we felt for those that were below us. The pool was closed when we were there but that was not reflected in the price.

Nice fully equipped big rooms. Large yard with pool (closed-it was March). Friendly staff and good breakfast in a nice environment.
Negatives:
Breakfast closes at 9:00, a little too early for people on vacation.
At night you might experience one or two trains going by. But in rooms far a way from the street and tracks it is not too bad.
