Very big room that felt a bit dated, but that fed into the NM charm. Close enough to walk into downtown Taos and free cookies were provided at reception.
Negatives:
Asked the front desk attendant what to do for one night in town - all she said was that the town closes early and provided one bar recommendation (the bar is closed on Wednesdays (it was a Wednesday))

Spacious, charming room—very clean and retro-cool Southwest style. Comfy beds, too. Breakfast was amazing: homemade burritos and tamales were highlights. We look forward to returning!

The breakfast was amazing, the best we've had during our entire road trip. Can't believe that this is a two star hotel. Staff was very friendly and it was nice to have a little 'cottage' for ourselves. We could put the car in front of the cottage, that was very nice.

Beautiful view and amazing rooms with a balcony! The staff was absolutely incredible and so understanding! And the BREAKFAST! So very delicious! Not to mention the fresh cookies and chips and salsa when we got there! Will definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone! Worth a visit!
