I was told upon checkin room assigned only heard the subway noise lightly. It runs 24/7 and loudly. Neighborhood is in the Ghetto, Food at Rosas was terrible and over priced catering to the locals!!! After paying total hotel lodging with booking.com in full . Upon check in they required an additional $150 deposit in advance they kept extra $32 for additional fees. Shady place!!!!

Safe, great location. Really appreciated the safety feature of using the room key in the elevator to access our floor. Plenty of hooks and underbed storage, great shower.

Shower was see-through to the room which was a little awkward with my friend.

The staff were welcoming and helpful especially Josielei! It was our wedding anniversary on the trip and she had made the room extra special. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
Breakfast could have had some fresh fruit. I tend to steer away from bagels/ toast in general so had to go buy fresh fruit from a nearby supermarket.

Comfy bed. Easy to get to from Manhattan, subway right around the corner.

Awful location, a very seedy corner in the Bronx. The only nice building around was this hotel, surroundings didn't feel very safe. Breakfast was very basic, and i am used to basic, but this was very basic. Stale bagels. Sink located in the room was quite awkward as was how the coffee maker was placed in the shelves next to it, difficult to fill with water without making a mess. Very little shelf space to keep your stuff.
