I did not eat breakfast but when checking out, I saw display of food. It looked good.

Eventhough booking prices were paid fully, I wasn’t expecting the $100 holding charge for damages. That holding charge would be returned if there was no damages after checkout. I did not have the extra funds on my card but staff still let me stay without having the $100 damage fee

The room was compact and designed very cleverly. The bed was very comfortable, the ac was working great. It even had a steam iron which was great. Housekeeping service was good. We had breakfast everyday, it was decent, with good coffee and toaster for the bagels.
Negatives:
The surrounding neighborhood seems a bit sketchy although it is actually safe. I was so glad that the subway station was very close.

The location ist very close to a metro station to enter Manhattan.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Breakfast could have some cheese and fruits, IT wad not healthy but was OK.
Rooms are very small, especially the bathroom.
Be aware the location is in Bronx, as a woman i did not want to travel alone.
