The hotel room had scuffs on the door. The carpet in the hallway was obviously stain by bleach. The toliet had a huge stain on it. The area it was located in was okay but there was some sketchy neighborhoods surrounding it.

Nothing. At the moderate nightly price point (compared with other hotels in NYC) It was excellent value for money in the New York market. New York is more expensive than most of the rest of the USA.

This was not the 3 star hotel I paid for. Took pictures to show you and going to make complaint. this was a scam, want my money back. Worst hotel Ive ever been. Hotel is charging me for things they offered for free.

It was a budget hotel. We were in the city for a party so just needed a bed for one night. No frills. Big plus was they offered a late checkout and the room had VERY black out curtains. We slept so late it was great.
Negatives:
I mean the room is tiny. Like it fit the bed and that was it. It was perfect for us because we just had backpacks. But if we were staying for more than one night it would be rough

The staff was friendly and offered recommendations and assistance multiple times. The location was great and close to many trains. The room was stylish.
Negatives:
The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected for the area.

I stay here a lot while commuting for work. Honestly its not that bad, but they could really make a bit more effort cleaning (the walls have dust all over them up high in some of the rooms Ive had), do small repairs (all the little shelves in the showers are almost falling off, unpainted patches on walls etc). Throw out ripped sheets, etc. all very simple.

It was about 10 min walk to the train that got us everywhere we needed to go. There was a really cool patio off our room which was awesome to sit out in the evenings.
Negatives:
It said breakfast was included but it really wasn't- just some instant oatmeal you could heat up if you wanted. Room was very small. We weren't in it too much, but it was hard to lay out clothes or get around each other when getting ready.
