Absolutely nothing. The property was disgraceful. We left immediately after requesting a refund.

This place should be condemned...we didn't even put our bags down. When we went to the front desk to immediately leave and get a refund, the front desk manager said "Not surprised...happens here all the time". I was truly appalled. We should have realized something was wrong when we noticed there were no cars in the parking lot. It was 7 PM on a Friday night. We were tired and hungry. Luckily, we found a room available at the nearby Homewood Suites. Do NOT book a room at Clarion in Cortland!!

The low rating for this hotel is a little harsh. Overall, I found it to be an acceptable accommodation for someone who needs a place to stay the night and doesn't need all the bells and whistles. The breakfast was in line with what one might expect. It's a short drive from the town center if you're looking for something to do. It's easily accessible from I-81. Sure, the rooms could use an upgrade, but for a simple hotel, it's a decent value and it does its job.
