This newly renovated hotel located within 3 miles of 3 golf clubs, the Extended Stay America is just a 5-minute drive from Sportime USA, an indoor entertainment center. This hotel has an on-site fitness center, laundry facilities and free parking. A kitchenette with a microwave and fridge is included in each and air conditioned room. Ironing facilities and a seating area with a TV are also provided in all rooms at the Extended Stay America - White Plains – Elmsford. A free grab-and-go breakfast including breakfast bars, muffins, hot cereal, coffee and tea is served every morning. Weekly housekeeping services is provided for free and daily housekeeping is available for a fee; towels and linen can be exchanged at the front desk. The Historic Hudson Valley is 1.5 miles away and offers guided tours. Yonkers is less than 20 minutes’ drive away, where guests can visit the Hudson River Museum and the Science Barge. Neuberger Museum of Art is a 20-minute drive away and New York City is can be reached after 50 minutes’ drive.

The heat worked.
Of course, the A/C was on and set to 60 degrees when I entered the room, so I'm glad the heat worked. Oh, and the pillows were very comfortable.
Negatives:
Breakfast didn't start until 6:30, and no provision was made for those of us that had to be on the road at 0600. A takeaway bag with an apple, a granola bar, and a bottle of juice would have been nice.
I had to put a parking pass in my dash. Which means that, after parking on an upper level and taking the elevator down and walking around the building because I can't get in the back until after I've checked in, I had to go back up to the truck, still carrying all my luggage (Okay, I could have gone up to my room on the 7th floor first, but I didn't have *that* much to carry, so I didn't), and then come back down.
AND WHAT WAS THAT SMELL IN THE PARKING LOT ELEVATOR???? Do you just let people ride your elevator all night smoking dope?
The price was the same as the Hilton next door, a brand which has never disappointed me (until that night when they were all booked up). I don't mind losing some of the perks I get with a Hilton, but I expect to pay less for giving up those perks.
