I loved the large suite with the kitchenette and living room area. We were staying in the room for six days and not venturing out because I had my 92-year-old mother with us. We had taken her out of her retirement center for this visit. We live out of state and to visit her, we needed a larger, comfortable place to stay, and this was ideal for us. The staff was absolutely superb! I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. And also, the breakfast was more than you can ask for. There were many choices and always enough available even if you came down right before they were going to stop serving.
Negatives:
I booked a handicap room. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the tub was not a walk-in shower type but a regular tub and that it did not have a handheld shower spray. It was impossible for me to get my mom who is in a wheelchair in the tub to bathe. A handheld showerhead is essential for handicap rooms. Also, the TVs were old and there was no guide to let you know what to find on the channels. It would have been nice to have smart TVs. Especially it being a Hilton family hotel, I was expecting a little bit more updated tvs.

This hotel by far is the best in this area. My husband and I have stayed at pretty much all the area hotels since our son goes to school in Utica. The reception desk had friendly people, the hotel was clean and the room was really nice. We stayed in a king studio and were not disappointed. The bed could have been a little softer, I'm like the princess and the pea, but my husband usually likes a hard bed but complained about this one. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the breakfast buffet but it looked like there was a variety of food. The coffee was excellent! And I was so happy they had my French vanilla creamer.
Negatives:
The bed could have been a little softer. Other than that, there wasn't anything we didn't like.
