The staff was exceptional, they went above and beyond and made our stay luxurious. The daily cleaning, despite my children's mess, kept our room spotless.

Convenient to subway stations, lots of choice of cheap and fast eateries around the area and Pace U.
Negatives:
I asked for early check in one hour before 4pm check in and was told it would cost me $100–1/3 of the nightly rate. Ridiculous. When I checked in one of the check-in staff was rude. The room description said there’d be a mini fridge. There wasn’t any which was very disappointing since I brought something that specifically needed to be refrigerated. There was a sign from the hotel mgmt saying bc of work being done on the water pressure, the water wasn’t as hot as it should be. That definitely was the case. The room was stuffy and when I turned the AC down to 65 degrees it did nothing but blow hot hair. I slept on the sheets that night the room was so hot—and wasn’t able to open a window. I didn’t need cleaning service after the first night so I put out the “Come back later” door sign thinking when the staff came back later I’d tell them I didn’t need anything (I thought that a “come back later” sign meant exactly that since they didn’t have a “Do not disturb” sign). The staff didn’t come back which was fine. But after the second night I needed cleaning service so I took off the door sign and left at 10am. I got back to the room at 330pm and the room hadn’t been cleaned. I was in the room until 6pm and no one came by. And there was a new sign up by hotel mgmt saying that the AC system was in “winter mode” so the AC in the rooms was for heating, not cooling. So for another 2 nights I sweated it out in the room with no cleaning service even though I didn’t have any sign on my door. I stayed out of the room/hotel as much as I could bc it just wasn’t pleasant to be in the room.
