Extremely rude and careless personell. Had to ask them to fix the safe that was broken 3 times before they got it working. Never had an air condition that worked, so the room was extremely hot, and that made it very hard to sleep. I asked 5 times if they could fix it, but eventually gave up due to their indifferent and even straight up rude attitude. The fridge didn’t work wich I also tried to make them aware of 3 times, the door to the room was extremely hard to open and close, wich resulted in the door being left open a few times.
Had to ask for toilet paper regardless that it had been left more for two days.
I payed 5200 dollars for 2 weeks, and even though NY is expensive, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel compared to price as well. I felt like a below 1 star experience.
It seemed like they were refurbishing the place while still keeping it open. Rooftop closed, construction in front, and sofas to compensate for a closed rooftop- wich led to people smoking right in front of the hotel, as you exit the door.

Location was great and staff were very nice. Room size was good.
Negatives:
It was very outdated, and the bathroom wasn’t that clean and mildew was just painted over.
The room was so hot. Trust what the reviews say about the ac. The ac doesn’t go low enough at all.
Finally, found it morally reprehensible that the Epoch Times was displayed in several places around the lobby.

The internet on the 15th floor was terrible. I connected but was either painfully slow or kept disconnecting. I have messaged the reception via booking.com but they do not monitor the inbox regularly and their only advice was to come to the reception. Which first of all I did not have time to stop in the morning and late at night I was in no mood to wait to talk to someone when there were people in front of me . I think the hotel is good if you do not need to contact reception.
