We have stayed here before. Centrally located to a lot of attractions.Three restaurants and the pizza in L‘Amico is the best ever! Happy hour every evening and they served really good wines.

Luggage storage policy is outsourced to a union and their policies are run by the union apparently, although not documented anywhere. I wanted to leave a couple pieces of luggage for one week in between stays and I was told that they would charge $5/piece/day for this, payable in cash or Zelle to the bellhop, but not charged by the hotel to my room charges. The whole thing seemed very sketchy, and after paying $1,000 a night for my room, I would expect this service to be offered as a courtesy, just as I have experienced at almost every other good hotel I have stayed in.

Great hotel lobby with awesome restaurants and vibe. The location was perfect. Close to shops, K-Town and Highline. Staff were great. I paid extra for early check in and we were in our room by 10am which was perfect coming from a red-eye.

Our reservation was canceled at 5:45pm on the day of arrival leaving us to make alternate arrangements upon arrival in NYC. Presumably, “a pipe burst” affecting only the room reserved for us with no other rooms available. Don’t believe it. Perhaps the hotel was overbooked and they gave our room away. Awaiting my refund. Found alternate accommodations where we will return in the future.

Unfortunately on the Sunday night there was a wedding on one of the higher floors which started early on and completely disturbed my stay. It was incredibly loud. When I asked the front desk they said they had tried to ask the team to keep the noise down but they agreed it was very loud. Hosting a wedding in itself is fine of course, however pounding music which was impossible to avoid when I was trying to relax at 10pm on a Sunday night is not acceptable in my mind for a 4* hotel.

L’Amico was excellent. The front desk was very kind and very welcoming to dogs. They were very helpful with booking a car. Nice wine tasting. I would stay again.
Negatives:
The lobby was very crowded especially during the wine tasting. Too small for the amount of people passing through it. I would have enjoyed the bar more if it was serving spirits earlier in the day.
