Hotel patron weren’t given priority seating at the rooftop bar and downstairs cafe, and it was mostly filled with people not staying at the hotel. The bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap) was pretty crappy quality

We truly loved staying at the Moxy Chelsea!
The location is perfect for Manhattan - very safe, close to the subway and on a road full of beautiful flower shops.
The room and especially its view was amazing! The cleaning crew does a very thorough job.
But more than anything we would love to point out how great the staff is! We had our 20year wedding anniversary the day we got there. All I had asked for beforehand was if they could leave a little note for my spouse. When we got there, we were asked to wait at the bar (drinks on the house) since our room was not available yet. 30mins later we came into our room - not only did they give us the corner room with a view on the Empire State Building (we had paid for a corner room but not every corner room has that amazing view) but they decorated it with so much love to detail and left two little bottles of champagne for us. Outstanding!
The staff is truly amazing! From the bellhop and cleaning staff to the front desk (especially Michelle)… thank you for making your guests feel so special… every day!

We can highly recommend staying at the Moxy Chelsea and will definitely come back!

Modern rooms, laid out very well in a great location. Close to nearby subway stations and Penn station if you're taking the train in. Front desk staff was very nice.

I wanted to checkout the rooftop during the day, but it seemed like a hassle to have to go all the way downstairs, ask the front desk, and take the outside elevators up. So I never checked it out, but great stay otherwise!
