Positives:
The staff at Pod51 are simply exceptional. Especially the porter Raphael, who went above and beyond to help us with a broken suitcase at the 11th hour! The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to most places, safe and busy. There's a great little cafe and pub attached to the hotel too. It has everything you could possibly need. Yes it's basic, and the rooms are small, but if you just need somewhere to get your head down that is safe, easy, and comfortable - Pod51 is the place.
Negatives:
The rooms are very small and basic, we were cramped as two people in a double but it really doesn't matter if you just need a base. If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy downtime in your room then Pod51 probably isn't the place

Positives:
Just a wonderful hotel!! The location was awesome because it was located very near to Midtown Manhattan and neighborhood was very safe and calm, the rooms were little but they were very comfortable and we had a good rest. Everything was very clean and all facilities in good shape. Views were amazing from the rooftop! We loved this place!
Negatives:
Staff in the reception was a little too harsh, otherwise, the rest was excellent.
