Positives:
I love the staff and how aloof they are. They were always there to greet me and one time he was said oh, you made it back. Lol. I love the ambiance of the lobby and how clean the rooms were. It had wonderful decor. It was very unique. The gym was great.
Negatives:
I didn't like the lack of amenities. But that was kind of on me for not looking ahead. There was no coffee/tea, no drinking glasses, and no ice or ice bucket to be found.I was also disappointed that the bar and restaurant are closed during our visit.

A bit dark; lack of security in the elevator to the room (anyone can enter and get to any floor); not well signed from the street (and no ramp up to the front door).

The carpet in the room was stained. The bathroom shower was dirty. No drinking cups, no ice bucket, no in room coffee, thin towels, overall no a good experience.

This grand old hotel is like a ghost town inside because of its lack of any supporting food and drink facilities. Not even a coffee pot in the lobby, nor a coffeemaker or microwave in the room. They need to contract with a bar and restaurant provider.

Location, Location, Location - its fantastic Ease of checking bags before arrival time and after check out time. Given bottle of water for each of us on check-in.

Entering, not clear where to go, lobby long and skinny, front desk in middle not identifiable. I did not have a top sheet on my queen bed. No cups in the room. Very minimal holiday decorations though we were there on the 27th of Dec

The property is beautiful but lacks several amenities for hotels in the price range. No on site food or beverage spots despite having a lot of empty space. The room is very spacious for NYC standards but lacks little things, coffee Mkr, umbrella, water.

We were in the Royalton suite on the 16th floor. The curtains did not function. The lighting was inadequate and flickered in the kitchen. There was no coffee either in the room, or room service, or even at the non-working bar.

The location was perfect and the staff made the stay enjoyable.

TV had very limited offerings unless you subscribe to streaming services which we do not.

The hotel was shockingly worn down. Lobby and rooms have deteriorated to shoddy condition. Room smelled like smoke. Lobby bar was closed. Quality comparable to a tired old motel. Very disappointing. They should close and guy renovate.
