Positives:
The service and rooftop bar/ pool were excellent. It was a great location and surprisingly quiet in the room for how lively it was outside.

The mattress was not supportive at all and my partner had a backache in the morning (we’re not elderly).

Super fun and would stay...
Positives:
I loved the pool area and whole rooftop space - it felt luxurious to be able to swim and sunbathe above the city on a hot spring day.
Negatives:
The room service - the food was good, but the presentation and value for price were not at all aligned. It was expensive, but showed up looking like it was a kiddie’s microwave dinner (which I’m sure it wasn’t).
The bathroom accoutrement could also be updated, some of the metal fixtures in the bathtub were loose or imbalanced in the bathroom - it looked like it was long past maintenance or replacing.

God awful hotel.
Have charged us £450.00 as their smoke detectors apparently were triggered 20 minutes before we checked out. We signed a waiver for a $500 charge if this happened so the rules were very clear and we understood this. Have explained that this was probably from the shower or the fact the iron they have is god awful and spits out boiling water and steam and ruins your clothes. When checking out we were told that everything was fine and there was no bill to pay and to have a safe flight only to get randomly charged half way through our flight home. After reading other reviews it appears they try this con on other people also.

The room was very big! There was a great balcony over looking Park Ave.The bathroom was huge and beautifully appointed. Hotel restaurant, pool, terrace were all great! Would definitely stay here again.
