They charged us $35 per day to must buy a gift from the gift shop.. they said it’s in the contract. I told them all charges have been paid all in advance. Will never stay here again.

As with all Manhattan hotels, the price is ridiculous. There is no reason a hotel room, that you aren’t in for 24 hours, should cost over $300.
The hotel gives you a coupon for 2 free waters from the gift shop. First two times we went to the gift shop there was a sign on the door, Back in 5 minutes. Really?? You don’t have another employee to take over for a few minutes to give someone a break?? When charging the prices you charge, I’m sure you can afford another person to cover. Also, when I finally got into the gift shop I got two bottles of water from the cooler. Oh no!! Cold water isn’t available with the coupon, only room temperature. This would have been ok if there was a refrigerator in the room. No refrigerator??

The location. Just in Times Square, you are basically in the middle of the show. Not far from Central Park also. The staff was also great, very welcoming.

The view could have been better from my room considering that I specially paid for that. You still could see Times Square but not as expected.
