Tryp by Wyndham Times Square South

Negatives: One room was not ready at checkin time, and no apologies from staff. Small check-in area, very hard to maneuver around people and luggage. There were no instructions on the location of the room, and I had to ask the bartender to help.

Negatives: Having to pay $110 extra for parking, we reserved the room in June of 2023 and paid for 5 guests, there were only 2 washclothes and a couple of towels, it was supposed to be a loft, the pull out bed was awful, the springs jabbed us all night long and my feet hung off the end, the soap smelled good but we couldn't get the lids off, the light in the bathroom went on and off by itself all night long but when we were in the shower, the light went off and it was pitch black, the tiles are also very slippery in the bathroom, the lobby bathroom had no soap on Saturday or Sunday until I let front desk agent know, which I couldn't tell if she was listening to me or not because she had an ear bud in and was having a separate conversation with a friend, not sure why we paid almost $800 when the same room was listed for just over $500. Had no idea the front was getting a facelift, looked pretty rough with all of the scaffolding out front.

Negatives: The room was a bit dark, the window faced against another building so outside light was minimal and there wasn’t enough lighting in the room to compensate.

Negatives: Staff was not attentive . The room was very small and the amount we paid was not worth it.

Negatives: I didn’t like the service. It could be better. I was charged twice.
