Great service and great location. I stayed here because I was meeting Becky Lynch at her book signing at Barnes and Noble at 555 fifth Ave which ended up being very close to the book store.

They send you an email to check in and so when you go to the front desk you don't have to show your ID or credit card because that step was already done before you get there.

The location was great for getting around & the rooms were clean if a bit basic.
Negatives:
The pictures on the site made all areas look much larger than they actually were. Unfortunately, the grab to go breakfast was non-existent & only consisted of an apple & some out of date orange juice on our first morning. On other mornings, there was the odd banana & 1 or 2 Croissants, which is not much use for a family of 5. The room doors need to be soundproofed as you can hear everything going on in each room which disturbed us early every morning & also late at night when other guests returned. The lighting in the room was in the wrong places.

The hotel rooms for a double room are extremely small, to be expected in New York however these are extremely small, no room to put suitcases, the room door just about opens and the bathroom smells of damp. In addition, when we checked in we wasn’t told about providing a 24 hour notice for cleaning the room. 2 days into the trip I had asked the reception staff if they could send someone to empty our bins and they had not sent anyone. I left the bins outside our room as there was so much, we called the next morning and then the rubbish was collected. Also, when we did receive a clean it was half done - this was due to the lack of space to be able to put anything, the cleaning staff left spare bed sheets for us to change ourselves.
I’d say if you are a group of 4 definitely find yourself another hotel or get 2 rooms as it was way too tight for 4 people to share.
