Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Midtown West

Negatives: The noise from our next door room was incredibly loud given we were in a joining room!!! We called reception 3* times. I have never done this before!

Negatives: No microwave in rooms

Negatives: Liked our stay but we had a disappointing event at the restaurant, I would not recommend anyone to eat at the restaurant. Staff are not well trained to have normal customer service. Were wrong taking our order, serve frozen food, and took too long to bring it to us. We had a toddler too! Worst part was no compassion or attempts to amend their wrong doing.

Negatives: Although we booked for higher floor we did not get it unless you consider the 5th floor as a higher floor. We checked in very early before noon but they could not manage to put the 2 rooms on the same floor not even close (21st and 5th). The lady at check in promised that both rooms will be on the higher floors as it was requested and paid for and on the same level, but we went for sightseeing and when we came back after a long day we were surprised to see that they forget about us and we were given what was left at 10 pm. I guess we should consider us lucky that we had a room at all. I had to ask for the manager to change the room and be close to my children. But it was not until next day. We were offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience but next morning we learned the "free" actually has a limit which was not enough for all of us. We felt we were tricked to spend more money in their restaurant. Overall the stuff including the manager was terrible. I have never seen like this before. The location of the hotel is good.

Negatives: Simple things that should be standard practice for such a calibre of Hotel. There are no phone charging facilities or chords at front desk or in room. Had to keep asking for clean towels.
