Hotel employee one of the Managers was very nice and really tried to help the situation of them not having our room that was booked months before our arrival.

When we checked in at the Hotel we were told that our room was not available and that they could not give us a room similar to the room we booked.I had to put 3 people in a very small room. I was told I would receive a credit $400 and then at ckout $200

Easy check in and checkout. Place close to subways if you need to go anywhere, and a 15 minutes walk to times square. Staff helpful. Called for refrigerator not working; was fixed in 15 minutes.

Comfortable bed and pillows- firm as well as softer ones. Great breakfast - price no doubt discreetly included in that of the hotel but plentiful, good quality and so convenient.
The location was very handy for Penn station arrivals and departures.

The 2 lifts seemed inadequate. Usually quite a long wait ( 4 minutes one morning) and often full when they did arrive.

I liked the central location, within easy reach to many important sights and attractions; I like the cleanliness of the room, the bed linen as well as the bathroom - which is really the key thing one would expect from a hotel room, so we'll done; I did appreciate the gym facilities thanks to which I was able to stick to my gymming routine; and the staff were super helpful.
Negatives:
I wasn't a fan of the very basic breakfast options - and the daily pandemonium that ensued over it every morning; I hated the lifts which took forever to arrive - they always picked up upper floors folks and there was never any space for guests from lower floors (this can be a problem if you're on schedule, allow a minimum of 10-15 minutes to get a chance to hop on); the Aircon in my room could wake up the dead, way, way too loud.
