Rooms were clean and well appointed (though not luxuriously so of course). Shower worked well and was clean (always a concern when I travel!). Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good for a Continental breakfast. Staff was superb: cheerful, accommodating, very helpful. I was glad to stay in a quieter part of the city in east walking distance to several attractions and the subway.
Negatives:
The pillows were dreadful. Although breakfast itself was pretty good, the layout of the small room was terrible - the plates and hot food were tucked into a corner so it was hard to even grab what you needed to get started. These were minor though - our stay was excellent.
